16th April ’17: Easter pastels

Happy, hoppy Easter, lovely chicks 🐣🐥☀️🌼
Well, my second-in-command and his chums have already been up for a couple of hours and had chocolate for breakfast so I have some catching up to do. Here is a noir shelfscape complete with chocolate brown books (in case you’ve already had your fill of the edible variety) and some of my very favourite @crafterscompuk Colorista colouring pencils (which always look a treat popped in jugs and pots, as well as being a treat to use). The egg is sitting pretty in a cute painted wooden egg cup that was, I think, sent to me from friends in Florence when I was a child. We always saved her to use for an Easter boiled egg and soldiers and I always remember the excitement of her showing her face just once a year. Have a great day finding those eggs, everyone. I’m pretty sure there’s one in the watering can…in my experience, there always is…You hadn’t thought to look there? You’re most welcome.
Don’t forget to come back later to ready my Colour File Interview. Can’t wait to share it.
