Ah, Friday, how good to see you again.
The arrival of the end of a busy (and wet 🌧) week has brought some peace and calm with it, especially since I’ve designated today the day to read a book about that very same thing – ‘Calm’ by @theschooloflifelondon. I’m reading it for my ‘day job’ as ‘How to’ columnist for @psychologiesmagazine and, as luck would have it, it’s also a pleasing blue that’s utterly perfect for The Colour File.
Since putting this collection of sky blue pictures together, I’ve been running away with myself. In my mind’s eye, I’m wearing this spectacularly romantic #gucci dress on a bright bucolic summer’s day. I’m reclining in a blue boat that someone else is rowing (‘Faster!’ I say, helpfully) whilst reading a book about Calm and pretending that that’s me all over. A lovely experience, if entirely fictional. Anyway, I hope you have an uneventful day and I’ll see you on the other side.
