3rd June ’17: Monogram love

Welcome to Saturday, lovely people ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‘–๐ŸŸโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’Ž

I don’t know what it is about monograms but I can’t get enough of them. My first monogram memory is of sitting on the back of a sofa, aged four, and hearing those magical words coming from the TV: ‘Today’s episode of Sesame Street was brought to you by the letter M.’ I jumped up and down with such excitement that I promptly fell backwards off the sofa, much to the unbridled amusement of my brother and his two friends (fortunately, it was only my ego that was bruised). I’m still a sucker for monogrammed items, like these divineย @pentreathandhalllacquered pen pots that I spent ages putting in different colour combinations inย @libertylondonย one Saturday (thank you, patient shop staff…). I haven’t bought one yet because, well, one simply isn’t enough. It’s that ‘clusters of colours’ business I mentioned before, as exemplified by this marine litter I found inย #banthamย this week: blue and yellow with a walk-on part for green. So much better in each others company, don’t you think? A truly harmonious bunch. Anyway, must dash – Saturdays are when I scout for colour all day long and I mustn’t miss a second. The penalties of being a colour-geek ๐Ÿค“See you soon.
