Happy Monday, folks.
What’s your favourite aroma? According to a 2015 UK survey, top of the list is freshly baked bread, followed by bacon, cut grass, coffee and cakes baking in the oven.
Whilst I’m a sucker for a bacon sandwich, favourite aromas at Colour File HQ are mainly of the floral (number 10 on the list) rather than the food variety, especially narcissi and hyacinth which shout out ‘Move along please, Winter! Spring is on its way!’ in no uncertain terms.
Then, of course, there’s fresh paint: the UK’s 34th favourite smell but, I reckon, one of THE most exciting ones around. It’s the smell that screams ‘Colour!!!!! All change, please!!!! *👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻*’ Food or flowers? Or something else?…
