Welcome to a new week, folks.
Of all the countries you’ve visited, which has made the most impression on you and why? Followers of The Colour File will know that mine is India. I most definitely left a bit of my heart there.
It was only when second-in-command started tackling his holiday art homework, which involved finding Indian patterns to draw, that I took stock of how much of the place I brought back with me.
These four little squares (which he drew some inspiration from) are examples of things that caught my eye and captured my heart in Rajasthan and beyond some 30 years ago and make me determined to go again.
Maybe this will be the year. Where do you yearn to return to in 2018 and why?
