3 March 18: Favourite colour songs?

It may come as no surprise to you that one of my favourite albums is named after a colour – the sublime ‘Blue’ by Joni Mitchell (with, of course, a blue cover). It even has a song called ‘Little Green’ on it (‘Just a little green, like the colour when the spring is born’). I read last night that when Joni – who also wrote ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ and ‘Favourite Colour’ – was a girl, she was partial to pink: ‘My parents told me I’d point to a bed of flowers and say ‘Pink. Pretty,’ before I knew any other words.’ Do you have any favourite colour-themed songs?
