Ah, maps! I’ve spoken before about how much I love them, especially, of course, in relation to colour. I recently saw this map of the human brain in @frompaperchase and thought how pretty it was, even if the ‘science’ of phrenology has long been discredited (practitioners used to feel someone’s skull and claim to know what their character – and indeed their future – was like from the lumps and bumps on the skull). Science has emphatically told us otherwise but I still think this ‘mind map’ is a little piece of colourful history.
