Hello my colour-loving chums.
As you know, I’m a great exponent of buying books for their covers (other fans of this much-aligned activity include my Instachum @decadesofvintages – take a look for book arrangements that truly spark joy). Yesterday, I bought three pale turquoise Penguin Modern books @penguinukbooksnot only for their divine colour but also because they had a colour mentioned in the title. I also saw this Madame Bovary volume which I’m going to buy today because I’ve just read that colour is woven throughout the plot. Colour and books are, it seems, intrinsically linked in so many ways.
