20 May 18: Garden weed shelfie

Hands up who’s gardening today?

I recently read a survey about gardening habits in the UK and learned that the average Brit spends 13 hours a year weeding. Looking out of my window onto the front path, I realise I’m an outlier: read ‘I will never get round to being on top of those weeds’. My excuse is that they are so colourful and delicate, who am I to destroy them? Instead, I have cut just a few to bring you some spring weed joy. Do you ever leave weeds because they’re beautiful?
