27 May 18: Purple Thames shelfie

Who saw the lightning in London last night?

As second-in-command and his friend ran in and out of the downpour like things possessed, supercharged by the storm, I was transfixed by the unreal lilac of the lit-up sky. This morning, as I picked my way through branches and leaves felled by the torrent, it crossed my mind that today could well be a brilliant day for finding more plastic, too. I might take a trip down to the Thames in a bit to see what nature has managed to wash up for me. In the meantime, here’s a lilac Thames plastic pic, complete with a few more coloured Thames nuggets found at Gabriel’s Beach on the South Bank yesterday. Catch you later.
