17 June 18: Blue crystal memories

When I was a little girl visiting my dad, I used to enjoy studying the pictures he’d painted. One of my favourites was of a turquoise blue-coloured crystal, small but intensely pigmented against a white background. So on Father’s Day, it seems only right that I write about this most intense of blues. I know Father’s Day can be bitter-sweet, a time of celebration and joy for some but remembrance and yearning for others. So whatever your situation, sending you big love.
