2 September 18: What’s on your wall?

Blimey, how did it get to nearly 5pm?

Second-in-command and I went for a run along the river this morning so that accounts for some of that lost time. I know – it sounds sickeningly virtuous but if it makes you feel any better, it was primarily to pick up our car which I’d unceremoniously jettisoned yesterday evening in order to drink wine with friends. We’ve got uniform ready and sharpened pencils for tomorrow but saying the ‘s’ word at Colour File HQ has otherwise been completely banned for today (no, not that word – SCHOOL!) and instead it would appear he’s in denial right up to the wire. I guess that’s the sign of a summer well spent. As the new school term starts, it has the feel of a time of new beginnings for grown-ups, too. I, for one, am looking forward to talking to you about some exciting projects I have in the pipeline. In the meantime, here’s a snapshot of part of the picture wall at Colour File HQ, which I recently added to with a fan decoration I bought @mands_official I love unexpected things mixing up picture walls, whether they’re plates, baskets or paper decorations. What’s the most unusual object you’ve got on yours?

Martha, The Colour File x
