In love with Peruvian textiles

When I went to Peru a few years ago, I was captivated by the awesome Andes (altitude sickness aside) and totally bowled over by the local textiles.

I brought home as many examples as I could, including two colourful bags decorated with bold, jagged geometric designs.

As well as using them as bags, I’ve also tucked the handles inside and used them as cushions.

I recently discovered that @iansnowltd have stunning cushions pretty much identical to mine (bottom right) so you can capture a piece of Peru for yourself (without having to drag yourself up mountains).

I’ve really enjoyed looking for interiors ‘relatives’ of this cushion including these Moroccan Wool Storage Pots by Bohemia Design Ltd (top right) @bohemiadesign and this fabulous Burst Of Colour Wall Mural by Shandra Smith @shandrasmithart at Wallsauce.com

If you can’t quite cope with a major pattern explosion (though I can’t imagine why…), a small hanging decoration (top left, Ian Snow) could do the trick: colour without commitment.
