When I started doing Shelfies at Colour File HQ around 18 months ago, I began with what I playfully dubbed my ‘shelfie noir’ series.
The black @farrowandball background behind most of my shelves makes the perfect backdrop for colourful Shelfies.
Recently, however, I have found myself hankering after the calming effect of a white Shelfie wall.
Multicoloured objects may sing against black but they often belt it out, prima donna style, in front of white.
So yesterday I set to work. The top shelf is painted with @littlegreenepaintcompany Clockface 81 and the one below in @farrowandballWevet No.273.
I’ve been sitting on the sofa watching the objects interact and I don’t know about you but I’m loving their performance.
