Happy #shelfiessunday!
I don’t know about you (and I know I’ve said it before) but around these parts, Sunday is a day for not doing very much (read ‘Made it to the pound shop.’ Living the dream, kids).
However, whatever I’m doing (or not doing) my thoughts inevitably turn to creating a #shelfie. Isn’t that really what Sundays are for? #shelfiesunday rocks.
In the words of one of my favourite childhood TV programmes, ‘Here’s one I made earlier’ – a #beautyshelfie that I recently crafted for the fabulous team @purepr.
I love using cosmetics and beauty products for Shelfies because I enjoy how the colours inform what accessories I’m going to put with them.
In this case, I dubbed it ‘Oranges and Lemons’ (I did it when it was blazing hot outside and my thoughts kept turning to drinking something cool 🥤
We even plucked an orange from a mini tree in the office to add authenticity to the theme). But as the year has progressed it’s suddenly feeling like it’s the colours of autumn, too.
