5 October 18: Women see more colours than men

Welcome to Friday, my lovely friends.

My mum once said she could never marry anyone who sings out of tune. I think my criteria would be someone who doesn’t get on with colour (that may well be a sackable offence in my world). I recently read a study that said that women are able to see more colours than men. Research shows that men tend to have particular problems telling the difference between shades in the middle of the spectrum, especially yellow, green and blue. And the colours they see tend to be ‘warmer’ (orange appears more red and green isn’t quite so verdant). I guess I could always educate…
