Don’t you just LOVE a bit of fluoro?
My first exposure to fluoro paint was as a kid in the 70s when we’d persuade our mum to drive us down a Fulham street to see the ‘luminous house’ that someone had painted in a mesmerisingly lurid mix of psychedelic colours. I couldn’t get enough of it.
That house is probably painted ‘Safe London Terrace Cream’ these days but my love of fluoro endures. I think it gives tame interiors or outfits a feisty wake-up call. To me it intimates open-mindedness and awareness of a world of possibilities.
Long live fluoro.
