Design tip: The importance of white space

I took this #shelfie pic a while back but I wasn’t sure about sharing it

Why? Because I felt there was possibly too much ‘white space’ going on above the assorted objects. However, as someone who loves both physical and metaphorical white space – gaps that hang around typeface like a ghostly aura, words that are unspoken by so many of us but say so much, vast voids like the oceans that we can only ever begin to truly understand – I thought I’d just pop it on my feed.

Sometimes in our busy lives we need to be reminded to appreciate white space, to breathe, to be and to drink in the importance of accepting that we can’t always have answers and that that is ok. Here’s to white space.
