Who used to watch Blue Peter?
Well, in the words of Lesley Judd, ‘Here’s one I made earlier’ (Or, in this case, here’s SOME I made earlier).
Last night I went to the launch of MADE’s fantabulous supersized showroom in Soho and it got me thinking about a series of Shelfies I did with one of their dinky shelf units a year ago. I wanted to show how one unit could be made to look different depending on the colours, shapes and backgrounds you use.
Changing things up is fun – that’s how I see shelf art or shelfies. Although it can be a static space, a sacrosanct area you never alter, it doesn’t have to be. Rather it can be one that is actively change depending on the mood, atmosphere or look you’re after.
So much joy to be had from a shelf unit and a few assorted props. Heaven *sigh*
